Bake Sale Success!!

Our Annual CAHS Bake Sale Was A Huge Success!! We would like to thank Wanda Nixon, Karen Boyles, Danielle Martindale, Danielle Lee, Jacqueline Carr, Connie Harnage, Jennifer Beeman @ Jenns' Cakery Bakery, Bernita Presnell, Vicki Carr, Sherie Williams, and everyone else that donated baked goods. We would also like to thank everyone that donated money, and purchased our yummy goodies! We appreciate all of the wonderful support!

The Boy Scout Food Drive

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to The Boy Scouts and everyone that donated to The Boy Scouts Food Drive this past weekend. The Boy Scouts chose to once again donate all of the food they collected to our office and we are truly grateful!!!

The Listening Project

The CAHS Office has started to work with a program called the Listening Project. This is a program that works with Domestic Violence survivors and lets them tell their stories. We will be working with 5 other Domestic Violence agencies across the state. The goal of the Listening Project is to hear the voices of 100 rural survivors of Domestic Violence. These survivors will be invited to share their successes, challenges, and the many lessons they have learned as they move toward safety. Their stories will be collected in a safe, confidential environment with experienced advocates. If you would like to be a part of this project please contact the CAHS Office at 945-2471 or come by the office Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

CAHS would like to thank everyone who came to our Open House on Friday. We would also like to thank the following people and businesses that made a donation to our Silent Auction; McDonalds, Bassham Furniture, Ace Hardware, Bodies at Work, GCR Tires, Flowers By Ness, Valley Propane, P & P Hair Designs, April Kati-Scentsy Independent Consultant, Danielle Martindale- Danielle's Jams- Jamberry Nails Independent Consultant, and Linda Lyle. All proceeds raised from our Silent Auction will be used to supplement the many services that are not funded through Grants. Thank you all!
