We would like to thank everyone that donated to the CAHS Back to School Supply Drive this year!! We were able to provide over 85 students with school supplies for the 2016-2017 school year. A special thank you the Mineral County Sheriff's Department for partnering with us for our first "Cram the Cruiser With Back to School Supplies" event. It was so successful that we have decided to make it an annual event. Thank you to BLM, USGS, and The Mad Hatters for their generous donations once again. Thank you to the Hawthorne Moms for organizing The 2nd Annual Socks and Underwear Drive, and donating those items to us. Last but definitely not least, thank you to all the citizens of Mineral County that donated school supplies. We couldn’t do it without all of you! You are all greatly appreciated!

WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program

We are very excited to announce that WIC is now officially offering The Farmer's Market Nutrition Program! Along with the regular WIC benefits, participants 1 year and older, are receiving Farmers Market coupons. WIC knows that sometimes it's a struggle to get enough fruits and vegetables into our families daily diet. This new program makes it a little bit easier.
